Tucked away in North Little Rock is a historic house turned boutique hotel that we had the pleasure to visit.
FYI: All opinions and crazy mom thoughts in this post are all my own!
According to the website, the house sat empty for a while until a brilliant lady saw its potential, and with the help of her husband, turned it into a unique boutique hotel. Nothing like a boss babe!

The hotel has five rooms in the main house and a sweet little cottage. It truly has something for everyone.

We left Texas early in the morning and drove most of the day. It was a unanimous decision to make a stop halfway to Nashville. We were tired moms and not up for a hell ride at all. We learned our lesson on the drive to Texas and that was happening again. So, the night before, we searched Airbnb and found the Baker Cottage. The pictures were so inviting that we decided to give it a go. Don't forget I am all about details!!

Let me tell you, from the moment we turned onto the historical street, we were enamored. But when we pulled into the driveway of The Baker Cottage, we were completely smitten.

We drove all day, so by the time we got to the cottage the boys were out of their minds with unspent energy. We loved that the Baker has a sweet little grassy area, that is perfect for antsy toddler legs.
The self-check-in process that this unique boutique hotel in Little Rock utilizes was also greatly appreciated. We didn't have to talk to anyone or go through a stressful check-in process, so handy!

The decor in this quaint boutique hotel is beyond compare for an Airbnb. Seriously, I even took a close up picture of the bedding because I want it! The owners knocked it out of the ballpark and set a pretty high standard for my future bookings.
I highly recommend a visit to Little Rock and The Baker Cottage. You won't be disappointed.

The kitchen was perfect for our needs. I loved the color. Very much my style. Way to go Baker House. You killed it!

The extra touches this Airbnb offers is what truly spoke loud to me. They had a fully stocked mini-fridge that allowed us to skip a quick trip to the store, which if you read my post on staying hydrated while traveling, then you know how important this is.

The couch is a futon bed, and according to Anna and Lani, needs a little help in the comfort department. Truly that might be our only tiny complaint.

I loved that they stocked the fridge with a few local drinks. A small bottle of wine would have topped it off though. (Hint, hint, wink, wink!)

The upstairs loft was the bedroom that the two littles and I slept. As opposed to the futon, this bed was heavenly. They even had a pack n play for Asa to use, which also earned them more brownie points.
The next morning we woke up and walked to get breakfast. The cottage and house sit right on Main Street. So we just headed out and went to a coffee shop literally steps from the front door of the cottage. Um..Hello, life!
I had the most fantastic omelet ever and Anna got a kolache. The coffee was pretty tasty as well.

This was short but sweet. From one mama to another I had to share with you this treasure because we loved our stay so much. I wish we could have stayed longer but other than that we say give it a go!
