Today's parents are breaking generational trauma and paving the way for a whole generation of children who will grow up with emotional intelligence that we have yet to see in any other generation.
But what is emotional intelligence?
Emotional intelligence is defined as a person's ability to express and manage feelings appropriately while respecting the feelings of others, and it's a skillset that can be taught to children. It helps children learn to regulate their emotions and be aware of the feelings they experience in relation to the people around them.
